Palindrone

MSNBC's "Morning Joe" is obsessed with a Chicago Tribune columnist's obvious take on Sarah Palin in "The Secret of  Palin's Staying Power."

"She's a babe, and she doesn't try to hide it."  Columnist Steve Chapman opines that if Harriet Miers had loked like Sarah, she'd be on the Supreme Court.  Similarly, if John Edwards and Mitt Romney were "short, paunchy and bald," no one would've "given them the time of day."

Yawn.  Spin me something original.  Harvard grad Steve Chapman should know better than to pen pedestrian.  The veteran boomer hasbeen around the block and should know better.

A pale, perspiring "five o'clock shadow" Richard Nixon lost the first-ever televised 1960  presidential debate with dashing John F. Kennedy.  Nixon had a face for radio and did better than Kennedy.  The medium is the message.  Marshall McLuhan.

Sarah has the look and that matters... get over it. it is the package any more not the substance. How do you think Barack got elected?
