Ferguson? He looks more bedraggled every time I see him.
1. A sitting president on an entertainmeht show is no big deal if the president conducts himself with a reasonable amount of dignity.

3. Having said that, once again we see the prez ain't much without a script.
4. There is no Craig Ferguson. He's actually a genetic meld of Dustin Hoffman and Dustin Diamond.
1. His appearance was a big deal to the Tonight Show Band who all wore suits for the occasion. I reveled in their understandable excitement.

3. Pres. Obama's public presentations are always contrived. In contrast, Pres. Bush is always himself regardless of audience.

ReplyDeleteIt is the GOTCHA GAME they use soundbites to vilify folks so now they are getting the same treatment. Marty has mentioned before they need to stop both sides. People don't deserve to be defined by soundbites ill thought out or otherwise. Barack Obama did the same thing to Imus. Last week the Left did it to Laura Ingraham with Plus Size Model...which I don't consider insulting. I mean Plus Size Models refer to themselves as Plus Size Models.
So I guess the teleprompter must have been off. Obama and the press do not need to take himself so seriously and accomodte the occasional gaffe.
