GE's Closing Hell. House Of Cards Brought Down By Bill O'Reilly?

NBC and GE refuse to respond to The Hollywood Reporter's observation that Fox's Bill O'Reailly has caused GE's stock to tank. THR: "it's... fair to note that News Corp. has outperformed GE in just about any time frame that begins on or after Sept. 7, 2001 -- the day Immelt became CEO -- and ended with Tuesday's closing bell, even though GE rallied 26% in the past two days. Since Immelt took over, GE stock has tanked 71%, compared with News Corp.'s 58% loss. So far this year, GE is off 53% to News Corp.'s 32% decline.

O'Reilly has gone up the NBC food chain right to the source - GE and Jeff Immelt - in his on-air rants against the parent company of NBC/MSNBC/CNBC et al.

MSNBC's "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough seems to be the designated O'Reilly hitter. I stopped in my tracks as I heard Joe defending GE stock. Maybe that was last week.

  1. First to set the record straight I am a former NBC/GE Senior Manager. I have witnessed first hand Jack Welsh's wrath at managers of business units that did not deliver. I have been waiting for the old neutron jack to show up and rip Immelt a new ass hole. No longer have it Jack?

  2. No "Neutron Jack" pimps his books on NBC properties. He and his much younger trophy wife Suzy Wetlauf.

I pine for Al "Chainsaw Al" Dunlap - former head of Sunbeam. Al didn't know that neutron bombs leave the buildings intact while annihilating the beating hearts...

Anon, Jack doesn't have it anymore because he's on Viagra, Cialis or whatever and sex has displaced anger outbursts...

  3. Jack's only hard-on these days are for the mistress who became his wife...

Have you ever seen him on interviews with the missus? He is patently pussy-whipped...
