Maybe Fox biz dude Cody Willard should hire the annoying Kathie Lee Gifford to front his movement. We're as familiar with her annoying son Cody as we are our own bowel movements.CNBC's "The Incredible Santelli" - stuck in cable TV Siberia until his Howard Beale breakout on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile exchange - has some competition. Fox Business Network's Cody Willard: "I've started a social network called SpokeUp.com. We're organizing April Fool's Day marches. What we want is for everybody to march on their local town hall on April Fool's Day against the Republican-Democrat socialist regime. You get as much local coverage as you can -- your newspaper, your radio, TV, whatever. Just get as much coverage as you can at your town hall and fight this stuff. We've got to start somewhere. It's going to be on the individual, grassroots level, as always."
At first I thought this was a joke - a jab at CNBC and Rick Santelli's Chicago Tea Party. But I think Willard is serious...
Why "SpokeUp?" He should've called his movement Vox Populi or something... Rock around the Vox. Fox Rox the Vox...
Most of his constituency doesn't know latin.
ReplyDeleteI did a seminar last year on how to handle an interview and Cody was used as an example of how some talk show hosts are just plain clueless about the topic. When it was done the class wanted to become a host rather than an interview...better $$.
