Serpentine former Clinton hack James Carville gloats that congressional Republicans are so cowed by Rush Limbaugh that the "exalted" (Carville's characterization) behemoth blowhard is now the REAL leader of the Republican party:
What do you think? Is Rush's ego killing the Republicans?
Reminds me of the intimidation tactics bullies used back in grade school. They'd get the entire student body to make fun of one or two individuals, and make life miserable for guys like me who'd still talk to their targeted victims.
ReplyDeleteWhat worked back then was to publicly bloody a couple of noses. We need a grown-up version of that to work on the likes of Carville.
Carville? If there is any "bully" in the parade, it's Rush. He sits behind the EIB microphone and dares others to step across some imaginary line in the guise of "us" vs "them." He lives to have enemies.
ReplyDeleteCorporal Cueball as usual doesn't get it. Rush has long espoused conservative doctrine and has a mic; however, the Republican leadership has done bubkiss in getting their message out. Bush was horrible with communications and the Rep leadership is not any better. When Reps act and talk like Dems then Rush says so...and why not, someone has to.
ReplyDeleteHow is this is different than Mother Pelosi threatening and slinging her sword at any dissenters in the House?????
ReplyDeletePat is right. Rush lives for enemies and lives to exalt Rush. He'll use the GOP and/or drag the GOP thru shit if either4 will increase his bank account.
ReplyDeleteLeader of the Republicans? No.
ReplyDeleteRush is the de facto vocal leader of conservatism in America.
It isn't Rush Limbaugh that Carville and his gang are bullying. It's anyone else with an opposing point of view. Whenever people argue from a conservative perspective, they want to be able to belittle them by saying, "Oh, well if all you're going to do is listen to Rush Limbaugh...".
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a clever tactic.
Rush's ego will ruin his party...
