The "homeless" Florida woman living in her car who has become "The Face Of The Economic Crisis" - Henrietta Hughes - isn't telling the whole story. It appears that Hughes paid off a $124,000 mortgage in less than two years and gave the house to her son. Joseph Culligan's Web of Deception notes the mortgage as well as Hughes's tenure in public housing going back to 1983.
The media glommed on to Hughes's tale of woe without checking and she even got a free house out of pouring on the tears to Obama at a town meeting in Fort Myers this week.
House Flipper...so an opportunist imagine, and she came to an Obama rally for what? It seems she has disappeared.
