George Carlin is rolling in his grave after the Kennedy Center bleeped his famous Seven Words You Can't Say On Television routine where he was posthumously awarded the Mark Twain humor prize. The Wash Post's Paul Farhi takes the Kennedy Center to task today for censoring Carlin, noting you can say anything in live stage perfomances. I interviewed Carlin once, alas, his first interview after his wife died. He was a downer the first 15 minutes, then funny as hell.
