Tim Robbins At NAB: Dead Man Walking

Liberal elitist a-hole Tim Robbins (left, with wife Susan and daughter wearing designer Diane von Furstenberg) in his NAB speech that bombed big time: “Die, you Nazi c___suckers" was the lesser known of Edward R. Murrow's signoffs at the end of his London blitz broadcasts. B&C Hear the "Best Six Minutes" from Ad Age

Media with cameras were ordered to power down supposedly for Robbins's "no filming clause."

What's with the NAB talent bookers? Are they on drugs? At the NAB Radio Show last September I witnessed suits bolting the Marconi dinner when some unshaven, hung over, scruffily-clad band "Collective Soul" reached the decibel level of a sonic boom.

Tim Robbins offers advice to broadcast executives? Springsteen tells us for whom to vote? Who's next? The Pope consulting Paris Hilton? We are such starstruck sheep in this country.

No kidding, Jim. It's insane. You were with me at the NAB Radio Show in Charlotte. What's wrong with these guys?

I'm also not enamored with the Pope's visit. He's a human religious figure not a deity. But I'm not into sheep-herding organized religion. Thrte hypocrisy... Don't get me started...

Right on, Marty! I was with you in Charlotte, listening to the gross national screech. But that now seems benign next to Mr. Sarandon. And regarding the papal visit: I wonder how many in the crowds were parents who brought their abused child?
